Your child will spend eight decades in their body.

Understanding it matters now.

LifePath: One Body for Life

Everyone Has One Body for Life. Everyone Needs to Understand It.

Human Body Curriculum for Kids and Teens

Health Decisions for Life.

Your child makes thousands of them—for eight decades. They should face those decisions with confidence, not anxiety. With knowledge, not fear.

But Nobody's Teaching It.

Standard curricula give them one chapter. They learn names, forget it, graduate without understanding what actually matters about their own body.

They Deserve Something Real.

Not enrichment. Not fun facts. But the physician-built foundation every person needs to understand the body they'll live in for life.

Why Understanding Your Body Actually Matters

Chronic disease is epidemic. Most of it is preventable.

But most never prevent it. Not because they don’t care but because nobody ever taught them how their body actually works—or what goes wrong when it doesn’t.

It takes a physician to know what people actually need to understand. That’s why a physician-built human body curriculum for kids is so important.

What a Real Health Literacy Foundation Looks Like

Kids get specialized programs for algebra, computer science, and foreign languages—subjects they might use someday.

But the human body? They get one unit in a rotation of unrelated topics. And then they’re expected to make health decisions for the rest of their lives.

LifePath changes that

While their peers are memorizing body parts, LifePath students understand how systems actually work, what can go wrong, and why their daily choices matter. Health literacy that lasts a lifetime.

The Owner's Manual Approach

Key principles of high quality health literacy for kids and teens

Understanding Beats Memorizing

Nobody takes care of something they don't understand. When kids learn how their body actually works—what it needs, what can go wrong—they start making different choices. Not because they were told to. Because it makes sense.

Understanding Replaces Fear

When something medical happens, kids who understand the body respond with curiosity instead of fear. They can ask real questions and show up for others. LifePath teaches the full picture, including how people live well with chronic conditions.

Physician-Led Means Clinically Accurate

Most curricula are designed by educators. Dr. Robin built LifePath from what her patients actually needed to know. The result: clinical accuracy, real-world relevance, and nothing but what actually matters.

Common Myths About Health Literacy for Kids and Teens

And the truth you’ll want to know.

Myth: Human biology is just one subject among many. We'll get to it.

Truth: LifePath isn’t just more science. It’s different science—the science your child’s existing curriculum almost certainly isn’t covering.

Most programs teach earth science, life science, physical science, and chemistry in rotation. Human biology is either absent or reduced to a single unit.

LifePath fills that gap without replacing anything. Many families use it alongside their existing curriculum because it covers ground that nothing else does.

The Truth: After decades of clinical practice and teaching, Dr. Robin knows that this is information that can be understood by a young child by is completely unknown to most adults.

Each lesson can also be understood at multiple levels.  It’s common for young students to believe they learned everything in a lesson and older students to return to the lessons later and discover material they weren’t ready for when they were younger.

The Truth: Most science curricula require the parent to do as much work as the student. Or more. But LifePath is designed by a mom who gets it.

Dr. Robin does the teaching. The lessons are physician-led videos that are clear enough that parents don’t need to prep. The anatomy coloring book is worked through alongside the lessons. The guided notes match each lesson exactly. The parent’s job is to show up, not to become a science teacher.

The Truth: LifePath isn’t taught as abstract science. It’s taught as “this is your body and how it actually works.”

Kids who don’t love science class often love LifePath because it’s personal and practical, not theoretical. The level of detail is just right for a human with a body they need to understand.

The Truth: Squeamishness almost always comes from mystery and surprise, not from knowledge. Kids who understand what a kidney actually does and why it looks the way it does are far less squeamish than kids who just see an image with no context.

LifePath teaches the body the way a good physician explains it to a patient—clearly, calmly, and with enough context that things make sense. Most “squeamish” kids turn out to love this material once someone explains it properly.

The Truth: Health anxiety usually stems from a lack of understanding of how the body actually works.

The body is usually logical and predictable. And even when things go wrong, when we can help anxious kids move into understanding rather than worrying, they cope better. Dr. Robin has seen this in thousands of patients and students over the years.

Hi, I'm Dr. Robin, and Teaching is My Life's Work

I’ve loved teaching since I was a small child.

When I was practicing as a family physician, I set up my practice so I could spend an hour with each patient so I could have plent of time for teaching!

But when the pandemic started and I needed to be home for my two autistic kids, I sold my practice with no plans. I just knew my kids came first.

My sister—a teacher—suggested I try teaching online. And I quickly discovered I loved teaching even more than I loved being a physician. It shouldn’t have been a surprise; teaching had always been my favorite part of being a physician.

I built LifePath the way I practiced medicine: starting with what people actually need to know about their own bodies. Not what’s traditionally taught. Not what fills a textbook. What actually matters for real health decisions.

Since 2020, I’ve taught over 3,500 kids and teens worldwide. I’ve watched what happens when kids understand their bodies—how it changes their choices, their confidence, their ability to show up for themselves and others.

LifePath is what I wish existed for every kid. And what I wish had existed for every adult. It’s what everyone needs to know to care for their one body for life.
