At Dr. Robin’s School, we believe that how we teach matters just as much as what we teach. This page explains our approach to publishing, ethics, transparency, and how we care for both our learners and our team.
If you have any questions about this, please contact Nurse Jill, our Director of Student Experience & Academic Support, via text message or call to 720-257-9030. You may also email us at hello@docrobinschool.com.
Dr. Robin’s School publishes educational content focused on human biology, health education, and neurodiversity. Our work is designed for learners of all ages, including children, teens, adults, parents, educators, and individuals seeking a deeper understanding of their own bodies and minds.
We teach real medical and biological science in a way that is accurate, accessible, and respectful. Our approach prioritizes understanding over hype. Rather than relying on flashy tricks, overstimulation, or “edutainment” tactics, we trust that the science itself is fascinating. We aim to engage learners intellectually and emotionally by helping them make sense of how the human body works and why it matters in real life.
Our goal is to build curiosity, confidence, and health literacy that lasts.
Dr. Robin’s School is an independent, woman‑owned educational organization founded and led by Dr. Robin Dickinson, a retired family physician and science educator.
We do not accept corporate sponsorships, outside advertising, or paid promotions.
Funding comes primarily from the sale of our educational courses, materials, and resources.
Some pages may include Amazon affiliate links to books or products we genuinely recommend. If you choose to purchase through those links, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. These recommendations are never paid placements and do not influence our educational content.
We believe high-quality health and science education should be available to anyone who wants it — not just those who can afford full price. That’s why Dr. Robin’s School uses a Fair Access Pricing model.
We use two distinct pricing models depending on the specific course type to ensure our programs remain sustainable for the school and accessible to the community. Learners and families can choose the option that works best for them, with no need to prove income or explain their situation. Everyone gets the exact same content, no matter which payment option they choose.
You can read more about how this works here.
We value thoughtful, respectful feedback from learners, families, and educators. Questions, suggestions, and concerns help us improve and refine our work.
If you’d like to share feedback or raise an issue, please email hello@docrobinschool.com. We read every message and use feedback to guide updates, clarify lessons, and improve accessibility.
Accuracy matters. While we take great care in creating our materials, science evolves and humans make mistakes.
If a factual error is identified, we correct it as promptly as possible and update the relevant content. Substantive updates are noted with a revision date when appropriate.
If you notice an error, please contact us at hello@docrobinschool.com with the subject line “Correction.”
Dr. Robin’s School is guided by principles of honesty, scientific integrity, inclusion, and compassion.
We do not use fear‑based messaging, clickbait, or emotionally manipulative techniques. Our content is meant to support learners in understanding themselves and others — not to pressure, shame, or overwhelm.
We believe science education should be grounded, humane, and empowering.
Science is for everyone. Our educational materials intentionally reflect a wide range of human experiences, including differences in neurotype, ability, gender, family structure, culture, and background.
Representation matters, and we strive to create content where learners can see themselves — and others — treated with respect and dignity.
Dr. Robin’s School is led by Dr. Robin Dickinson and supported by a small team of part‑time employees, including her husband and teenage son. Our team is majority female and majority neurodivergent. Dr. Robin herself is a physically disabled educator, and accessibility is a core consideration in how we work.
We believe people deserve stability and care in their work. When appropriate, we hire team members as W‑2 employees rather than contractors, so they have access to real benefits and protections.
Our employment practices include:
As we grow, we are committed to continuing ethical, inclusive hiring practices and creating meaningful opportunities in health and science education.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about how Dr. Robin’s School works behind the scenes. We believe that science education should be built on trust, integrity, and care — for learners, families, and the people doing the work.
