Every illustration is drawn to teach a specific concept, not just depict a body part. The heart is shown in situ, in its actual position and connections inside the body, not floating alone on the page. The ear illustration includes the surrounding nose and bones, because hearing doesn’t happen in isolation either. The composition itself is doing part of the teaching, before your child reads a single word or picks up a marker.
Every page also pairs the illustration with plain-language explanatory text, plus both labeled and label-free versions of each drawing, so kids can study first and test themselves after. Bonus recorded anatomy lessons from Dr. Robin come included with your download.

We’ve set the price for lifetime to be the same as you’d pay for 10 months in the program to encourage families to go for lifetime and repeat the course a least a couple times.
Mid-elementary school through early high school. Younger learners get to have a clean start of understanding. Older learners can find an alternative to memorization.
Have a student taking high school Anatomy & Physiology? Consider using one of Dr. Robin’s courses as a quick foundation before they start. We don’t go straight from the alphabet to essays but that’s what we expect students to do when learning anatomy. Let them spend a couple weeks learning the basics first.

Dr. Robin is a family physician who has taught pre-med to over 3,500 kids and teens across the globe.
The first illustration in this book exists because of a frustration. In nearly every drawing and model of the heart, the aorta just disappears behind it and stops, as if the vessel ends there. It doesn’t. It continues down through the abdomen, and most people never learn that because no picture ever showed it.
So Dr. Robin sketched exactly what she wanted students to see, and Hannah Sayward turned that sketch into a real illustration, redrawing it again and again until it matched what Dr. Robin had pictured.
Every other illustration in the book followed the same process: Dr. Robin decides precisely what a drawing needs to teach and how it needs to show it, then the Tim or Hannah work through as many rounds as it takes to get there.
